Dr. Alicia Lyles

Federal Programs Coordinator

Dr. Alicia Lyles is the Eufaula City Federal Programs Coordinator. Prior to coming to Eufaula City Schools, Dr. Lyles was employed by Chambers County Schools as the Federal Programs Director for 7 years. She has also been employed as a high school guidance counselor and enjoyed teaching students with disabilities for 24 years.

Dr. Lyles earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education, Educational Specialist in Administration, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Administration of Elementary and Secondary Education from Auburn University. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University.

Dr. Lyles is married to Dennis Lyles and is the mother of five adult children.

Mrs. Lorena Ponce

Parent Liaison

Lorena Ponce is a native of Chile. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Universidad del Pacifico in Santiago, Chile, and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University.

In 2020, Mrs. Ponce began working part-time at Eufaula City Schools as an EL Parent Liaison. In 2023, she began working full-time as a Parent Liaison.

Mrs. Ponce is married to Jesus Carmona, and they have three children - Beatriz, Emiliano, and Natalia.
